Solicitors Negligence: Negligent Will Drafting.
A solicitor owes a general duty to draft a will with reasonable care and skill. If he fails to do so, it will normally give rise to a claim providing the claimant is able to prove what he intended the will should have said.

Defamation Damages
The recent case of Mohammed Hussein Al-Amoudi v Elias Kifle [2011] EWHC 2037 [QB] was a useful case illustrating the assessment of damages in cases were the allegations are of a very serious nature. The Claimant was an international businessman who was born in Ethiopia but then moved to Saudi Arabia. He is one of the richest businessmen in the world.

At a case management conference before Master McCloud on the 23rd January 2014 she ordered that the Claimant should file and serve his amended particulars of claim in the form set out in the CMC bundle and by the 7th March 2014 the Defendant should also file and serve his amended defence and counterclaim.
