Levi & Anor v Bates & Ors [2015]
The Claimants and Defendants had both been involved in the running of Leeds United Football Club, the First Claimant having been part of a consortium which consisted of local business people who had stepped in to save the Club when it fell into financial difficulties and the Defendants, part of a consortium which took over the running of the club from them.

The Claimants sought an injunction against the Defendants, the publishers of the Daily Mail, to stop them printing a story in their newspaper concerning the First and Second Claimant’s personal relationship with each other.

Owens & Anor v Grose & Anor [2015]
This was an Appeal from a judgment by Master Kay dated 10th December 2014 where he dismissed applications to strike out or grant reverse summary judgment in relation to the Claimant’s claim for damages, including aggravated damages, for defamation in relation to statements made in a letter of the 21st September 2013 and an injunction.
